Winter........ almost gone.

My favourite season is nearly over:-------- we've had good rains; always important; the wattles have never been 'yellower' (is there such a word ? ) The vines are gnarly and naked, the camellias in full bloom, but the daffodils nearly done. A celebration of the seasons past with the annual bonfire.

Bliss N Eso - The Sea is Rising (WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY)

One of my favourite Australian hip-hop bands is Bliss N Eso. I like them because their music is varied, quirky, and fun; sometimes serious with a message but always interesting and well crafted. The language is often "colourfull" but the purpose and intent meaningful. Yes, and their name sounds like my blog............maybe a bit.

The Name........... an explanation

"Bliss" of course can be many different things to different people. The dictionary says: " lightness of heart; blitheness; gladness; supreme happiness or delight. Well give me some patterned paper,glue, scissors, ink, paint,fabric,fibres, a camera, and any assortment of art materials and I'm pretty damn happy ! Throw in my favourite snacks: Twisties and a glass of wine from Pimo Estate, then I truly have hit "bliss'. Then there is gesso, well that's just an art medium essential.
