New art journal page..........opposite to the one on my last post.  Sometimes the need to art journal calls for a big stage; a double spread. Sometimes your idea is simple, and the confines of a single page work best. More often than not, these simple, single pages will be the inspiration, the catalyst to creating a companion page. So, this second page, "Life" looks at and into the first.

Worked with paper, coloured pencil, paint, distress stain, modeling paste and a forgotten old friend, Rub_ons. Thanks for visiting.

Sometimes you just have to let it out. Express what's going on inside your head. Whether it is on a piece of paper, canvas, wood or in a journal, expressing your thoughts in a creative way is like "venting" to a friend: necessary and good for you. With all the horror that we see daily on the news, it's difficult to be immune to just how "out of control" the world seems to be.  Humanity, love and religion hang in the balance............... As a civilisation we are hanging on.........but only just.
