This is a page I've done for
Once Upon A Sketch where the theme is "Friend". My journalling, which is on the back reads: 'A friend is born of many things, but the foundation is trust. A true friend is the one you can trust with your deepest, darkest secrets.'
I've turned the sketch on its side.
Apart from the theme of "Friend" and the sketch at Once Upon A Sketch I was inspired by a few other things. The papers I've used are from Meg's Garden and when I first looked at these two girls I thought how sweet and pretty, but as I studied the image for a while and their expressions, it was as if the dark haired girl was shamefully confessing to a secret, while the other was listening intently. So it is with only the closest and most trusted of friends that we confess to, or share with, our darkest secrets. I am also inspired by Finn. I can't seem to create anything now with out being influenced a little ( or a lot ) by her. Also in the back of my mind was the current movie "Snow White and The Huntsman".
