White + Olive Green + Twine.
Oh my goodness: I have only just posted my March WW1 challenge ( it was pretty late tho) and here I am posting Aprils ! I love these challenges, and especially this one. I wouldn't say olive green is the "prettiest" of colours, but I do like its subtle earthiness, especially combined with twine; what a great idea. I had no white cardstock when I started this LO, (the down-side of living in a rural community, not a lot of scrapbooking suppliers nearby) but I was so keen to get started. Anyway I hope I have enough "white bits" on my page for it to be "legal."
Love the colors of this cllenge and your lo is just stunning. Love it.

I totally love this page, and even though you say pink isn't your favorite color, I like that page, too. I am truly in love with the shabby look of this page. In my opinion, it has the exact amount of white.
ReplyDeleteI love how you used the twine like tendrils from a vine or a bird nest .... It's so organic and natural! I think you're better off without a local scrapbook store .... It forces you to be more inventive ..... And probably better!
ReplyDeleteOh this is gorgeous!!! You have really done well for what I think is a hard challenge! I don't think I have any olive green in my stash at all! I love this. xo
ReplyDeleteGayle this is just so stunning. Love the twine and the vine and all of the yummy details in between.
ReplyDeleteLove the rich details of this gorgeous spread!
