Flowers, Mists and Pot Scourers...........

A little bit of French whimsy.

A while back I made this French inspired gown for Meg's Garden all out of her beautiful summer range of French inspired papers. I had always intended to make "a head" to go with it and finally got around to it over the week end. Her head does sit nicely on the mannequin but I think, as she has been inspired by Marie Antoinette it's  better presented on a "cake plate."

The face is made from a foam ball from the craft shop. Her hair is 3 wire "pot scourers" glued and pinned to the ball and then gesso applied. I've glued fine paper to her face and then painted the features on and then sealed. Every thing is held in place by glue, Glossy Accents, pins and long bamboo skewers.

PRODUCTS USED: Foam craft ball, wire pot scourers, assorted Prima and Manor House Creations flowers,Dusty Attic chipboard foliage,Tim Holtz metal cage and wing, Meg's Garden beautiful paper lace and big Pearl Pin, assorted findings, pearls and ribbon, gesso, paint, Dylusions Ink Spray and Perfect Pearls Mists.

Thanks so much and dropping by and visiting me today. Have a great week xx
