Weekend Away

I'v had a little time away, travelling through the bottom tip of southern York Peninsula......no phone coverage, no internet, no TV. Just birds, the sea and fields. It's been good to be "disconnected", just for a little while.

These massive fields of Van Gogh yellow Canola crops screamed for attention.

Ship Wreck....the exposed metal hull of the Ethel, from above looking like a fish skeleton.

Mother Nature has won, and returned this ship, made by man, back to the earth again, where it seemingly blends perfectly with it's natural surroundings.

Thanks for stopping by today, have a great week. xx

  1. Hello Gayle. Good to see you get some time to yourself away from the digital world (barring the camera...LOL!). Love the pictures and the story behind them. Hope to see these on your beautiful pages eventually.
