Hello. Challenge #44 is up at Lets Get Shabby and it's an Easter List........well, 3 lists really. A list for 'subject', a list for 'embellishment', and a list for 'technique'. You need to work with one or more things from each list. Check out all the details HERE, we would love you to play along.
I have made an Easter Tin from one of those cute little pot plant holders from Ikea. I have covered it with paper, decorated it, made 3 tags and decoupaged some foam eggs with napkins and 7gypsies Tissue Paper. Of course you could fill it with real chocolate eggs or any other Easter treats.
I would have never known those were foam eggs. They look fab! So inspiring.

Wow fantastic OTP Gayle!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work Gayle. I would never dream of creating something like this. It looks like it could have been made a loooong time ago (and I mean that as in it is "timeless" and "antique"). I am sure it will become a gorgeous keepsake.
ReplyDeleteOh how I wish I could go on a Scrappy Holiday too....I will just have to stick with the occasional retreats.
And thank you again for your gorgeous words :)
Finally I made it here before the end of the day. Just gorgeous Gayle, I love the Ikea metal pots I have these to keep my craft supplies in as the are so pretty and you've used it beautifully here, the decorative eggs are gorgeous and I just love that vintage Easter Rabbit tag. Thanks for sharing and I will try and check out your challenge site.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a talent for "pulling it all together!"
ReplyDeleteAnd you make it sound so simple: just get this and cover that and decoupage those and embellish this :)
Beautifully executed and I love the vintage Easter card with jeweled bits in the front
