The challenge at Lets Get Shabby this month is about GREEN. Not just about the colour tho, but also FOLIAGE, LEAVES, TREES, VINES and any PLANT FORMS you can dream up. You can see what the rest of the team have created and get all the details on how to play along HERE.
I do love blossom. This photo is what I originally had as my first blog header and is what my current header is based on....ha, I've certainly got my moneys worth out of this one simple photo taken so long ago.
Inky dribbles, canvas leaves, velvet flowers and delicate die-cut foliage all make for different textures.
Mask, texture paste and ink.
Chipboard coloured with ink and then 'crackle medium' applied.
Today, I also want to thank every one who left a comment for me on my last post and my mixed media journal page. I have been away for all of last week with no computer. When I got home this morning and read all the truly wonderful comments that so many of you had taken the time and effort to leave for me I was so touched, thankful, and of course, as we all know, comments make us happy :))
I was fortunate enough this time round to be featured, so I had a double whammy of happiness. If you are interested in mixed media challenges pop over HERE and join in the fun. The colour challenge here this time round is red, so after creating HERE at Lets Get Shabby with green, you can compliment it HERE at A Mixed Media Color Challenge with red.
