The new challenge at paperDVIZHNIK this month is ........flowers + punk /grunge. Does it get any better than that !!! My 2 favourite things ! All the details are HERE. Play along and go a little wild.
Combination of water colour and paper serviettes.
To paint the face I've used a combination of Caran D'Ache Supracolor Soft water soluble colour pencils, Ecoline water Colour and Distress Stains
Some "grungy" details. Texture paste used through chicken wire stencil then reverse chicken wire stencil where I've coloured the texture paste with India Ink. There is probably a cheaper way to colour the texture paste using acrylic paint, but I wanted it to be very, very black and the ink worked perfectly.
This chipboard cross was gessoed white then sprinkled with "Stampendous Aged Copper Embossing Enamel". It is so beautiful and easy to use and quite different from their "Shabby" range of embossing enamels. You all probably already knew that, but it was the very creative Louise Nelson who gave me the heads up on this great product + a little personal demo x.
WOW!! Awesome work. She looks amazing. Loving the wonderful colors you used here.
