This months challenge at Lets Get Shabby involves sharing your favourite Christmas song/ carol or hymn. My favourite Christmas story/poem has always been 'The Night Before Christmas'. I love the humour and joy in it and the excitement it generates.

Christmas Cards

Some Christmas cards I made using an assortment of papers,..........Basic Grey, Websters and my favourite, 'house of three' Parisian Anthology ink resist. Also some ribbon and K&Company chipboard.

2 More Dresses......

Finally, 2 more dresses ! I still have 4 to go...... the inspiration behind these two were 1) some amazing photos of beautiful medieval armour, and 2) the absolute abundance of flowers in my garden at the moment, ( won't last long, temperatures today and yesterday are 36 degrees ).

Left-Overs.........

What do you do with all your left -over bits and pieces ? Bits of paper, punched borders, embellishments made but not used, experiments, cut out shapes and flowers too pretty to throw away ? I keep them, thinking well I might need that one day. Now if I was really honest I would admit that I don,t really think that because I know there is gorgeous new stuff coming out every day, and of course I,m going to use that before any old scraps I have hanging around. So, what I have started to do is fill up an old book with pages made from scraps...... literally a "scrap" book. Here's a page I made the other day, and the few bits and pieces I started with.
