Scavenger Hunt Sunday

I am a very novice photographer, but I am keen to improve and the only way to do that is to practice, right? So I am being brave and have taken some photos for Scavenger Hunt Sunday, a photography challenge run by Ashley Sisk each week.I have no idea how to use Photoshop so apart from simple photo editing like 'crop' and 'straighten' these are pretty basic I guess, but I did have my camera on manual instead of auto. so that has to a step in the right direction, hey?

old and new

night photography

  1. So glad you jumped in this week - don't necessarily need to know PS if you have the eye for it to begin with. Great job!

  2. I'm with you on not knowing PS Gayle...I signed up for one of KimK's brilliant classes and never got to take it

You are ahead of me being on "manual" and your photos are always beautiful ... they draw me in

these are no exception...looks like a great challenge and you've certainly stepped up to the challenge beautifully!

    your cheesy looks SO inviting!

  3. Yummy your Cheesy shot makes me want to sit down with a glass of wine and some good cheese.

  4. Oh My gosh!!! These are wonderful. What a great set.. Your new and old photo is amazing what a great idea. And so is your night shot.. I am telling you these are wonderful.. So glad you played along.. Watch out it is addicting..

    Hugs, Linda

  8. great set! You really have an eye for detail.

  9. I've always thought you took the BEST photos. I would not call you a novice. Your latest are simply more examples of awesome ART. This shows what a REAL photographer you are!

  10. these look so far from amateur photographs!! they are brilliant, you are so talented and I love your interpretations of the prompts.
