Scrap Around The World......September Challenge #5

It's my turn to host at Scrap Around The World this month. This is the mood board I've come up with, graphic and bold, but, interpret it how you will.
All the details, the rules of play, ideas and inspiration can all be found HERE on the challenge blog. Also a Facebook giveaway and a special mystery guest....it's all happening !! So hop over to Scrap Around The World for all the details.

Colour is such a massive part of our lives, from what we wear to how fresh our vegies look. We all love and rely so much on colour to express ourselves.....so, I thought it might be fun and a challenge to try to create a dynamic and interesting page using only black and white and shades of grey. If we take away the use of colour it means we have to look "outside of the rainbow" and come up with other visual elements to create with.

Lots of layers of different patterned papers, stamps and washi tape.

I included some beautiful black flocked paper for texture and depth of "blackness".

Some Dye-cut circles that have been dry embossed then lightly brushed over with ink to highlight the pattern and provide another different shade of grey ( I'm sure there are more than "50 Shades of Grey" )

Texture paste snow flakes.

There are some absolutely amazing prizes up for grabs for this challenge from some very, very generous sponsors. So, we would love you to get your creative mojo on and play along.

The winner of this challenge will be invited back to be our October Guest Designer,
as well as winning this huge prize pack of 20 PIECES of chipboard from our sponsor
