"The Left Overs" Book...........it's still going.

I have this book: an actual book with pages of text in it, that I have been sticking random bits and pieces into. There is paper, laces, flowers, chipboard, punched boarders, anything that has been "left over" from another project. I toss these bits and pieces into a box, a sort of recycle bin; then when I have a quiet moment and not much on the go, I will rummage through this "treasure" and see what I can make with it. These two pages turned out to be very red and 'romantic' in style....maybe inspiration for a valentines day card.

Thanks for dropping by and have a great weekend. xx

  2. HI.. this is so gorgeous.. so romantic feeling, and what a wonderful way to use up those bits, it would be a book to go back to and create a little bit more in and never get in a rut as you would just scrap however you feel.. no pressure or challenge.. fabulous idea!

  7. I'm SO late getting here this week. I saw the previous post and I love all those layers. I agree you are not a minimalist!

This looks like a fun book. I really like the romantic appeal these pages evoke. And the leftovers are sure better than any leftovers I have. Great job making art with what you have. Love that concept!

  8. I save the scraps too - but have very little intent or purpose on how to use them. I like the idea of a leftovers book. These pages are sweet - I love the floating chairs in the background. As if to say to a damsel in distress .... Here, have a rest!
